Services Provided:
From Monday through to Thursday, clinical consultations are provided at
17 Rogers Street (4681 2212). A domiciliary (home visit) service is also provided on Thursdays.
- General physiotherapy with emphasis on education, home exercises and manual therapy techniques.
- Adjunct interventions such as LASER, Microcurrent therapy and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue and Joint Mobilisation can also be provided as necessary.
- Conditions commonly seen are associated with pain and loss of function of the neck and lower back and extremity joints, particularly the knee, shoulder and hip joints.
- Treatment is provided with an awareness of the Biopsychosocial nature of pain.
- Cardiovascular (aerobic) fitness assessments are also offered, using a safe, accurate submaximal cycle-ergometer protocol.
- Clients are thoroughly assessed regardless of whether they are referred by another practitioner or present without a referral.
- All consultations, since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, are limited to 30 minutes. This requires that clients attend approximately 15 minutes before their initial consultation to complete preliminary paperwork.
- Post-graduate study and research experience and over 25 years of experience in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions can be drawn on to guide clients towards their goals and peak function.
